The Board of the Jacobs Gallery has adopted the following vision, mission,
and value statements for the Gallery:

Our Mission:
To serve as the cultural anchor of downtown’s visual arts district by inviting citizens, students, and visitors to explore new vistas and expand their horizons.

Our Vision:
This well-established gallery continues to inspire the community and to create new audiences through its display of visual art in its location at the heart of Eugene’s premier performance venue, the Hult Center for the Performing Arts.

Strength of Location and Physical Space
* provide the large and diverse audience of the Hult Center’s two performance halls with an inspiring space to visit during their events
* foster new audiences by making it easy for people to visit a gallery as part of another outing
* take advantage of the new energy this well-established organization has gained due to its recent change to independent, non-profit status
* use the gallery’s large walls, high ceiling, and open floor plan to display larger works that artists are often unable to show
* serve the Southern Willamette Valley and people who visit from out of town and out of state.
